Terms and Conditions – Allgäu & Spätzle Ultracycling

1. Organizer

2. Registration & Payment

  • Registration via the online form on the event website.

  • After registration: Email with payment information.

  • Registration will only become valid and binding upon receipt of full payment within the deadline.

  • If the participant limit is exceeded, the order of receipt of payment will determine the allocation of starting places.

3. Scope of Services

Ultracycling (King Size & Big Size)

  • Starting place including GPS tracking (Follow My Challenge)

  • Race number & starter pack (high-quality, reduced to the essentials)

  • Scouted, low-traffic and scenically impressive routes

  • Basecamp in the Sportpalast Bad Waldsee with added value for all travelers and free overnight accommodation (after prior registration with the organizer) including shower, toilet and atmosphere

  • Organization & Security Coordination

  • Finisher breakfast on Sunday morning

  • …and other amenities

Spätzle Sprint (approx. 100 km road or gravel)

  • Starting position & starting number

  • A scouted, low-traffic and scenically impressive route

  • Organization & Security Coordination

  • A refreshment station along the route

4. Withdrawal & Cancellation

Withdrawal by participants does not entitle them to a refund of the entry fee.
In the event of cancellation by the organizer (e.g. force majeure), a pro rata refund will be issued, less any costs already incurred.

5. Liability

The organizer is liable in cases of intent and gross negligence ; otherwise only in accordance with statutory provisions, in particular in cases of injury to life, body or health.
Liability for purely financial losses is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

6. Data protection /

GPS tracking

  • For ultracycling distances , GPS data is collected via Follow My Challenge and displayed publicly; it can remain viewable even after the event.

  • There is no GPS tracking for the Spätzle Sprint.

​

  • Personal data (e.g. name, address, email, date of birth, bib number, photo/video content) will be processed for the organization and documentation of the event (Art. 6 para. 1 b/f GDPR).

  • Disclosure to third parties only to the extent necessary for technical implementation (e.g. payment service providers, timekeeping/tracking).

  • Responsible party/contact: Daniel Steinhauser , info@daniel-steinhauser.de.
    Data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability) exist in accordance with the GDPR.

7. Jurisdiction & Final Provisions

The place of jurisdiction is Bad Waldsee , insofar as legally permissible; for consumers, the mandatory statutory places of jurisdiction apply.
Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

Privacy Notice (Summary)

By registering, participants agree to or acknowledge that:

  • Personal data will be stored and processed for the purpose of carrying out the project.

  • GPS tracking data (for ultracycling) can be publicly viewed and archived,

  • Photo/video recordings may be used for documentation and advertising purposes.

  • It is possible to object to the use of your data for advertising purposes at any time .
